Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is usually produced when the juice of apples is fermented with yeast and bacteria, turning to alcohol. It is then fermented again with bacteria to produce vinegar.

For centuries Apple Cider Vinegar has been used in alternative medicine. More recently scientific research has unearthed a myriad of health benefits for Apple Cider Vinegar and many people take Apple Cider Vinegar as part of their wellness and healthy life style routine.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar is known to have anti-diabetic effects and can lower cholesterol levels in the blood by inhibiting the oxidation of low density lipoproteins (LDLs), among other benefits (Laranjinha et al., 1994, Salbe et al., 2009).
